Break away from conventional schooling and celebrate the incredible capabilities of twice-exceptional (2e) students
The mission of Trillium Academy is to break away from conventional schooling and celebrate the incredible capabilities of twice-exceptional (2e) students, providing them with the learning environment they need to discover and develop their talents and passions to live successful and enriching lives.
We have 51 students enrolled in Grades 5 through 12 for the 2024-25 school year. We have rolling admissions and are open to offering a Grade 4, if demand warrants it.
Embrace the unique developmental paths of twice-exceptional students, acknowledging the intersection of their strengths and challenges.
Ensure the implementation of best practices in gifted education by offering profound and engaging learning opportunities.
Make decisions that prioritize students' needs, respecting and promoting their autonomy while minimizing unnecessary demands.
Create an environment where every community member is valued and respected, celebrating the diverse experiences and perspectives they contribute.
Provide opportunities for students to address real-world issues through passion projects, community service, and internships, facilitating career development and talent exploration.
We are located at the corner of MLK and Jackson in Seattle's Central District. This is the former location of Bridges Academy Seattle and, before that, the Seattle Girls School.
